It’s one of my favourite places in the Lake District. The Honister Pass. It’s an ideal mix of the ancient landscape, contrasting with the Honister Slate Mine. One really does compliment the other. On a bright autumnal day you get to see all the different shades that nature has to offer. A rich mix of greens, browns and yellows reflect the sunlight in all directions which creates a view that has stopped many a walker right in their tracks.
